Satya Chauhan



Satya is a Mumbai based guitarist, teacher and mentor. His technically demanding teaching greatly influences the guitar playing skills of his students

Many of his students have turned into guitar instructors and are teaching in different parts of the country

He completed his Masters in Science from Swami Vivekanand College. He got inclined towards music and has been determined to make it big as a guitarist. This led to the formation of IMD – Institute of Music Discipline

He is a qualified music teacher, an inspiration to many of his students and aspiring musicians already. Apart from being the founder of this Institute, he is a thorough professional in imparting knowledge of guitar to his students.

Throughout his teaching career, Satya has been driving students to excel in playing the guitar. He strongly believes that music has the power to change lives. It creates a positive impact on the social and cultural lives of people. Music itself works as a spiritual guide which serves as a medium of personal expression

In spite of his immense talent and having achieved success in his field, he is deeply grounded with ethical values and is always down-to-earth & humble. His zest and passion for music is evident from the way he plays his Guitar, and he lets his instrument do the talking. Satya holds a strong belief that music can truly change the lives for the best and that it brings you to your own attention. He considers music to be the best thing that ever happened to him

Satya has been felicitated with the EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARD 2015 by the formar Indian cricketer JAVAGAL SRINATH for his outstanding teaching in music. He is a teaching faculty at Kamla High School in Khar, Mumbai. He is also active in Corporate Shows
